The Legacy

T.Albert and Jassie O, both taken away from this world all too soon, are laid to rest side by side in Mani, Grand Cape Mount County. T. Albert Senwah

T. Albert Senwah was an Attorney-at-Law and a Lecturer at the University of Liberia. He received his high school diploma in 1976 from the College of West Africa and undergraduate degree in Agriculture from the University of Liberia in 1980. As a Fulbright scholar, in 1983 he obtained his Master of Science in Plant Pathology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, USA. It was his hope to help rural farmers and also provide legal aid to people in need. In 1988, he graduated with a LLB from the Louis Arthur Grimes Law School. He was killed on November 10, 1990.

Jassie O. Senwah

Jassie Oretha Senwah was known for her intellect and beauty. She obtained her high school diploma from the House of Bethany in Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia. The former Miss University of Liberia studied Biology while at the University of Liberia. Upon her death, Jassie was enrolled at the A.M. Dogliotti College of Medicine studying to become a medical doctor. Her dream was to work in rural Liberia treating disadvantaged people, especially women and children suffering from various forms of diseases. She was killed by an ex-boyfriend in 1980.
