About Us

Established on February 16, 2013, The Senwah Foundation is named in honor of T. Albert Senwah, and Jassie O. Senwah. Albert and Jassie were siblings who lost their lives in the political upheaval and civil unrest in Liberia, West Africa. Jassie O. Senwah was born on July 5, 1955 and T. Albert on December 18, 1956 unto the union of Massa Fahnbulleh and Baba Toye Senwah.

The foundation was founded to keep their legacy and passion alive. Their commitment for building communities, serving others, and their love for their country Liberia, can still be felt through the lives they touched.

The Senwah Foundation is a registered nonprofit, nonpartisan, public charity founded in Massachusetts. The Founder and Executive Director, Jassie-Fredcia Senwah has over five (5) years of community organizing, youth empowerment, and community development initiatives.

The Senwah Foundation is an operational Foundation. The resources of the foundation are dedicated to the people of Liberia. It is not a grant making institution, and does not have its own source of funds. Our projects and programs are financed through diverse funding efforts.
